There is an idea out there that writing a book is as easy as pie and maybe it is if not
much thought and effort has gone into it.
But if you have a message and have an urgent need to get it out into the world and are
passionate about writing then it will be hard.
Writing a book is one of the hardest things to do but it’s so worth it. There will be challenges
and obstacles that will test you to your breaking point. But no matter how hard it gets, don’t
give up. As an author you need to adopt a “never say die” attitude because that’s the only way
you will succeed in getting your book/books out into the world.
Seasoned writers know this all too well. I think the difference between writers who are starting
out and writers who have been writing for a long time is that seasoned writers know how to deal
with the pressure a lot better. They have thicker skin and they know the results that occur from
not giving up.
So as you start out learn to not quit. Have a “never say die” attitude.
Get the book done.
When you fail and fall get back at it. Keep moving forward.
Feel free to share your thoughts on the topic.
I would love to hear what you think.
Until next time, keep writing.
